At NBSRO, we prioritize transparency, fairness, and accountability in all our operations. To further this commitment, we have established an Internal Ombudsman role dedicated to overseeing and resolving internal grievances and ensuring compliance with our organizational standards.
The Internal Ombudsman is responsible for:
Addressing Internal Grievances: Handling complaints and concerns raised by employees, members, or other stakeholders within the organization.
Ensuring Compliance: Overseeing adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Promoting Fairness: Ensuring that all internal grievances are resolved impartially and transparently.
The Internal Ombudsman receives and reviews complaints related to internal processes, conduct, or compliance issues. The Ombudsman ensures that these complaints are addressed in a fair and timely manner.
Conducting thorough investigations into internal grievances, gathering relevant information, and working towards a fair resolution. The Ombudsman may recommend corrective actions or improvements to address the issues raised.
Providing regular reports to the senior management and Board of Directors on the status of internal grievances, trends, and any systemic issues identified. This helps in maintaining transparency and accountability.
Reviewing and suggesting updates to internal policies and procedures to enhance their effectiveness and ensure they meet organizational and regulatory standards.
Conducting training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees and members about grievance procedures, ethical conduct, and compliance requirements.
All complaints and concerns submitted to the Internal Ombudsman will be handled with strict confidentiality. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all parties involved and ensuring a secure process for addressing grievances.
The Internal Ombudsman plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within NBSRO. By addressing internal grievances effectively and implementing necessary changes, we strive to enhance our organizational practices and maintain high standards of integrity.
