At NBSRO, we are dedicated to providing a transparent and effective Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM) & Dispute Resolution Framework for addressing and resolving disputes. Our multi-step process ensures that all grievances are handled fairly and efficiently, offering various avenues for resolution depending on the nature of the dispute.
Disputes should first be submitted to the relevant NBFC company through their Help & Support section. Ensure that you provide all necessary details and supporting documentation to facilitate a thorough review.
If the grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction through the initial submission, escalate the issue to the NBFC’s Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO). The GRO will review the complaint and attempt to address it within a specified timeframe.
If the grievance remain unresolved after escalation to the GRO, you may then approach NBSRO. Submit your complaint to NBSRO for further review and intervention.
If the agreement between the NBFC and the customer includes an arbitration clause, NBSRO will facilitate dispute resolution through arbitration. We partner with Equa.Law to provide expert arbitration services to resolve the dispute impartially and effectively.
For disputes where mediation services are preferred or required, NBSRO will also collaborate with Equa.Law to offer professional mediation services aimed at achieving a mutually acceptable resolution.
If the dispute remains unresolved despite arbitration or mediation, you can escalate the issue to the RBI Ombudsman. The Ombudsman will review the case and provide a resolution based on regulatory guidelines.
In cases where litigation is necessary, NBSRO partners with LawDocs to offer comprehensive legal support. Our collaboration ensures that any legal proceedings are managed with expertise and diligence.
